Ernest (Ernie) Fuhrmann started his oilfield career as a Mud Logger – logging offshore Gulf of Mexico in 1995. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Sam Houston State University in Business Administration. In 2015, he joined Jackie at GeoVision, and in 2016 founded DATALOG Geological Services. Ernest is a member of both the West Texas and Houston Geological Societies. He lives in Houston with his wife Nicole and two daughters Sienna and Aspen.
Rodney Fuhrmann, Jr. also started his oilfield career in Mud Logging, but has a very diverse professional background. Rodney is an educator – having worked in many school districts as a teacher – a coach, and also a personal trainer. He is partners with his brother Ernest at DATALOG Geological Services and manages the sales team. Rodney has a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, a Teacher’s Certification and a Master’s in Administration and Supervision from Sam Houston University. He lives in Montgomery, TX with his wife Jenny, daughters Rylee, Avery, Kate, and son Trey.
Rod “Coach” Fuhrmann
Rod started his oilfield career in 1976 in New Orleans, LA. He worked and help build several independent Gulf Coast mud logging companies from 1976-2008 as Vice President of Sales, when he returned to coaching, which is his passion. He returned to the Oil Field in 2019 as advisor to his two sons, and as sales coordinator. He lives in Montgomery, TX with his wife Carolyn and dog Biscuit.
Kristen Cabatingan started her oilfield career here at GeoVision & DataLog Geological Services. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Geology from University of Texas – San Antonio where she was active in the UTSA Student Geological Society and an officer in her sorority, Alpha Sigma Alpha. She is currently based in Houston, TX where she is an active member of the Houston Geological Society, AAPG, and STGS. Kristen was born in Slidell, LA, but moved to Houston soon after Hurricane Katrina. Kristen is extensively well-traveled and has visited five continents – the opportunity to travel is one of the many reasons she loves Geology.

Kristen Liebers started her oilfield career here at GeoVision & Datalog Geological services. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics & Sociology from Texas A&M University – College Station where she was an active member in her sorority, Delta Zeta. She is currently based in Denver, Colorado where she is a member of the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologist and the Denver Petroleum Club. Kristen also has a diverse background beginning her career in education such as Rodney. Kristen is originally from Fort Worth, TX area but made the move to Denver with her husband.

Native Texan, Scott Bentley, was born and raised in Fort Worth Texas. Scott is the son of an Exploration Geologist, and from an early age accompanied his father to the field in East Texas, North Louisiana and Arkansas.
With a solid foundation in Mud Logging / MWD, Scott moved into Operations management in the late eighties, managing Joint Venture start-up operations in Mexico, Ecuador, Venezuela, Indonesia and China. Mr. Bentley joined DATALOG Geological Services in January of 2019 as the Chief Operations Officer, and lives in Midland Texas with his wife.

Courtney Dudley is a former Division 1 athlete, a member of the Women’s Soccer Team from 2013 to 2017, who recently graduated from the University of Houston, where she double majored in Sociology and Kinesiology. She is an active member of the University of Houston Alumni Association and continues to play and coach soccer in her spare time. Courtney is Datalog Geological Services’ Office Manager and Human Resources Coordinator. Courtney is currently enrolled in a Master’s of Accounting program, expecting to graduate in May 2020. She is a Houston-transplant from New Mexico and is happiest spending time at home with her French Bulldog and Miniature Schnauzer.

Brian is a veteran of the US Navy and a veteran of the Gulf War. After his tour in the Navy, Brian attended University of Texas Arlington where he pursued a career in electronic integration management.
Brian started his Oilfield career as a Mud logger working the Eagleford resource play including experience in Haynesville and Cotton Valley. Brian joined DATALOG Geological Services in its earliest days as a Field Supervisor, watching projects in the Haynesville, Cotton Valley, and Eagleford trends. Brian advanced to Operations Management supervising all of the regions DATALOG is active in.
Brian is married to Bunnie and they have two daughters. One of his daughters is going college at University of Louisiana in Lafayette and the other pursuing a career in soccer.
Gary was an owner-operator of an appliance delivery company before I expanded my skillset with facilities maintenance. During this time, he took a walk with God and found new meaning in life. His wife, kids, and motorcycle family, the Tribe of Judah, helped him grow. He eventually found mudlogging years ago, and grew from a night logger to a unit manager, all the way up to DATALOG inventory and safety coordinator and his current position as the Gulf Coast field supervisor.

Scott has lived all over the world, with stops German, Norway, and Switzerland. He has a total of 23 years in the oil field, and 15 years as a mud logger in the Permian Basin, 8 years as a Field Supervisor in the Delaware Basin, and 5 years in the Deep Water GOM.
Scott has one daughter, Melanie, and two sons Andrew and Wyatt. He lives in Carlsban, NM with his fiance, Melanie, and is a proud grandfather of 4 year old Nolan.

Cody Wendt was brought onboard as a Field Supervisor with DATALOG Geological Services in July of 2019. His previous work experience within the greater Permian Basin includes nearly 6 years as a Wellsite Geologist for a New Mexico based mudlogging company. His involvement with data collection includes many targeted formations for horizontal drilling; as well as numerous saltwater disposal wells throughout the greater Permian Basin. Cody attended Winona State University where he attained a Bachelor’s of Science in Geology in 2011. His research background includes structural relationships of REE and REL complex pegmatites in the Black Hills of South Dakota.

Anthony Herrick a native Arizonian born in Kearny Arizona, and now lives in Midland, TX. He attended American Technical Institute, and while studying automotive computers and instruments he developed his attention to detail and trouble shooting.
Anthony joined the mudlogging industry in 2005 as a trainee advancing to Unit Manager working Geo Pressure along the Texas and Louisiana Coast. Arriving in West Texas in 2012 he worked primarily the Delaware Basin on Exploration wells for a variety of independent operators.
Herrick joined DATALOG Geological Services in 2017 as a Unit Manager since has advanced to Shop Foreman and Logistics coordinator.

DATALOG employs Robert Bowie as their Managing Mass Spectrometer Analyst. He has 19 years of experience in the mud logging industry, including working in Research and Development for several service companies, developing and implementing field deployable mass spectrometers, as well as providing Geochemical Analysis for wells in the North Sea, West Coast of Africa, and U.S. He has also provided geochemical technical training and product development as a consultant on 3 continents.
